Our country; in its journey towards becoming a major player in the field of dairying; needs to focus on quality – Quality Assurance of milk and milk products has assumed enormous importance during the recent past. Therefore; putting in place the mechanism for Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Control to meet the hygienic standards of the dairy plants and to produce high quality dairy products; should be our immediate priority.
Panchamrut Dairy has been accredited and sustaining compliance with the standards of ISO 9001-2000 and CODEX HACCP(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) since 2000.
As per (International Organization for Standardization(ISO); Quality is ‘The totality of features and characteristics of a product and service that bears on its ability to satisfy stated or implied needs. The quality encompasses safety; hygiene; reliability; wholesomeness and acceptance to consumers’.
With the changing focus on Quality issues worldwide; ISO 9000 Standards serve as the basis for ensuring consistent Quality of Goods and services. It addresses Process-Centered Approach to Quality Management System to meet consumer requirements and gauge their satisfaction and place the system on a continual improvement mode.
The Quality Assurance Services (QAS) now known as SAI Global Pvt Ltd., has been helping the organization to implement; sustain and modify the Quality Standards as per changing requirements. Every year; periodically Internal Audits(atleast twice) and the external audits twice in a year are being conducted to help keeping the system in place, satisfactorily.
